About Us

Background: Samuel Kwasi Arthur served as the CEO of Samkwarth Company Limited, which was initially established in 2011 as a commercial entity in Ghana to handle transportation, mining chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Even though the business operated as previously stated, its primary concentration was on pharmaceutical services. In the western and central regions of Ghana, the corporation began acting as holding agencies for a number of reputable pharmaceutical enterprises, including Bawa International, St Kem Pharmaceuticals, East Cantonments Pharmacy, and Telous LTD, which is now Envin Specialities.

The company opened its first retail location in Prestea, Ghana’s Western Region, in 2018. In under eight (8) years, it had grown to include additional six(6) retail locations, one wholesale location, a distribution/trekking department, and four clinics. Currently, all the branches are located in the Western Region of Ghana with a future expectation of expanding it to the other parts of the country.

On 27 March 2025, Samkwarth entered a partnership agreement with a Pakistan Pharmaceutical company called Medinoon Research Laboratories; to manufacture Nutraceutical products for sole or exclusive marketing and distribution in Ghana. Ten (10) products are already registered with the Ghana Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) in Ghana and are at the manufacturing stage, awaiting shipment to Ghana.
